At Midhurst Dental, we provide root canal therapy for patients that have a damaged tooth that needs to be fixed.
What is root canal therapy?
Each of our teeth contains a long, thin strand of dental pulp that extends down to the tooth’s root. This pulp provides the tooth with nutrients and nerves. If the pulp becomes infected or injured, the tooth's nerves die and, often, if left untreated the surrounding tissue may become infected.
Why might I need root canal therapy?
Root canal therapy is designed to save such damaged teeth by cleaning the inside of the tooth and sealing it to preserve the day-to-day functions of the tooth.
At Midhurst Dental we provide root canal therapy services. If you would like to learn more about root canal therapy, please make an appointment today.
